One of the techniques in which VDL Parree specialises is 2K injection moulding. This method injects two different components into one mould. Double injection can create one product with two colours, for example. It can also combine two different materials, such as a hard-soft combination. The hot plastic components are injected directly onto each other. This creates excellent adhesion, as the materials fuse together. The result is a high-quality bond that combines different material properties.
