The IATF 16949:2016 certificate succeeds ISO/TS 16949. It enables VDL Parree to manufacture for the automotive industry. This sector has strict requirements for products and internal processes. The IATF 16949 certificate demonstrates that VDL Parree meets these high standards. As a result, a significant share of its turnover comes from activities for automotive customers. In this market, VDL Parree manufactures components for several well-known brands seen on the road every day.
Over the years, VDL Parree has built up extensive experience supplying the automotive sector. The company was certified to the QS-9000 standard as early as 1995. This American standard preceded ISO/TS 16949. By choosing VDL Parree as your supplier, you benefit from more than two decades of expertise in automotive component production.
ISO 9001:2015 is the best-known international standard for quality management systems. VDL Parree has held this certification for many years. This certificate positions us as a reliable supplier of diverse products for various markets. ISO 9001:2015 ensures that we do what we promise, document what we do, and can demonstrate this. At the same time, the standard helps us avoid unnecessary bureaucracy. We therefore organise our processes according to LEAN principles. We continuously strive for improvement and optimisation.
In addition to the IATF 16949 certificate, VDL Parree also holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. This enables us to serve customers outside the automotive sector effectively. Both certifications give us the flexibility to fully align our processes with customer requirements. This includes the associated documentation. As a result, we remain a competitive and attractive partner for every customer.
In 2017, VDL Parree achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification. This demonstrates that we have a comprehensive environmental management system. Corporate social responsibility is a high priority for us. Care for a healthy environment is an integral part of our business. As a manufacturer of plastic injection-moulded products, we contribute by correctly sorting and recycling plastics. We also reduce our environmental impact by, among other measures, heating our logistics department with recovered warm cooling water from the injection-moulding machines. We use energy responsibly.

In 2026, VDL Parree achieved the TISAX label (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange). This is an internationally recognised certification for information security in the automotive sector. It is based on ISO 27001 and demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to protecting sensitive information. The label is particularly relevant for companies in the automotive supply chain that exchange confidential data. It helps build trust and security between partners.
