VDL Parree was founded in 1948 in Horst, Limburg. It produced metal buttons and emblems for uniforms worn by the army, police, fire brigade and music societies. In 1955, the company took its first steps in plastic injection moulding. Today, this is VDL Parree’s core activity. Its very first plastic products were promotional tokens for the film Quo Vadis.
Since then, VDL Parree has developed into a specialist in technical plastic injection moulding. To offer customers a complete package, the company also provides metalworking and has a fully equipped assembly department.
VDL Parree began certifying its quality system as early as 1977. A focus on quality has been a key value within the organisation for many years. In 1993, VDL Parree became the sixteenth company to join VDL Groep. Since then, the focus has shifted further towards markets with stringent quality requirements. These include the automotive industry, medical equipment and child safety products.
Over the past 75 years, VDL Parree has developed into a fully fledged system supplier. It carries out a wide range of activities under one roof. This broad expertise includes co-design and production engineering. As a result, VDL Parree is a strong partner for outsourcing complete production processes.
